Josef Dabernig, Mina Fina and Polonca Lovšin form a group of artist, whose selected works are questioning topics of physical, social, natural and other generally socially accepted facts. They undermine them with appropriation, copying, transforming, mimicking and new forms. Nothing is as it seems.

Josef Dabernig (born 1956) is an artist and filmmaker. Initially trained as a sculptor, he graduated in sculpture from the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna in 1981, but later on he extended his artistic practice to other media: film, photography, text and questions of architectural display. His conceptual art production is characterized by contextual thinking and structurally combining linguistic (or mathematical) signs with visual signs.

Mina Fina (born 1978) is a visual artist and graphic designer. In her artwork she explores drawing, animation, video and the transitions between these media, often in the final form of the installation. Her drawings actively intervene in a chosen environment. These are simple everyday images, narrative fragments, records of overheard conversations. The structure of Mina’s drawings shows an extremely individualized and intimate nature. Another topic is theme of representation of the female body.

Polonca Lovšin (born 1970) is visual artist and architect. She is dealing with everyday relations and processes, social topics, relationship between system and individual, nature and culture. Her long term projects belongs to the segment of contemporary arts practices known as art-as-research. She focuses mainly on the dynamic and constantly changing relationship between the urban and the rural.
